Old Things Are New Once More.

Homecoming is Saturday and I have yet to buy my dress (or even determine if I'm going). Either way, I've been enjoying feasting my eyes on Beverly Hills 90210 reminiscent dresses.

Procrastination Is An Odd Fascination.

I've been doing a lot of experimenting with eyeshadow for the fall, and hopefully when I catch a little spare time I'll show you some of the looks I've tried.

This week is Homecoming week, and even though I haven't decided if I'll go or not, it'll be a busy week either way.

Today I wanted to practice driving, so my mom let me drive to TJ Maxx, where she had a return to make. I looked around but ended up with only one purchase a package with two pairs of tights; one black and one grey.

I know the posting is a little off lately, but I've been drained. I still have Biology homework to finish, and a story for British literature to right tomorrow, so expect things to pick up in a few days.

I just glanced at the clock and realized the day was almost over, and I hadn't posted yet!


I don't know how the day got away from me like it did. I did fit in watching Clueless.

You Could Say That.

You could definitely say that I'm obsessed with Jak & Jil. Sometimes I have trouble finding a photo for a post, but Jak & Jill has so many wonderful and inspiring pictures that I almost had too many options this time.

Frankly, Dear.

It has always bothered me when people say that they have no regrets because regrets are the mistakes you don't learn from. Just because I learned something from an incident doesn't mean that I wouldn't have much rather just known it from the start. For example, today I learned that when I wear colored tights I should not try to match them to my flashy sweater. Sure, now I know that they should be worn with a black cardigan and a tough necklace. I learned something from my faux pas, but it would've been just as nice to have not made the mistake in the first place. I would've settled for realizing it before I rushed out of the house in the morning.

In closing, if you don't have regrets, you probably should.

Now it's time for me to console myself and remember that not all risks can end on a positive note.

And It Couldn't Come Soon Enough.

I just finished all my homework, and I can finally say that I'm caught up on all the work I missed when I was absent on Friday. Now, I can relax and go to bed, just as soon as I decide on an outfit for tomorrow.

Too bad my mind is going blank.

Perhaps an episode or two of The Nanny will stimulate it. And how couldn't those heart shaped buttons inspire me?
