I do have lots of exciting stuff coming up, and although that means I still have more work to do, I'm planning to get back into the swing of things as far as blogging goes over Christmas break and then try to keep it up.
I do have a couple ideas of how to keep myself posting. As much as I love my drawn out, text filled posts, sometimes I just can't think of anything worthwhile to share. Which means, that during the weeks when I just can't find the time between sewing and writing Jane Eyre papers, I'll try to make brief posts about different aspects of my day. Either a few shots of project I've recently completed, or a picture of my outfit that day.
As for that exciting stuff I mentioned, I mean I am a senior. It's supposed to be an exciting time in your life! I'm applying to colleges and waiting to hear back. I'm (hopefully) preparing myself to go to school for fashion merchandising and live in New York. Just thinking about it could probably provide me with a million posts.
Of course Christmas is coming up too, which is exciting for everyone. I've only ever thought of "Christmas came so fast this year!" as being something that adults say. Christmas never comes fast, and the school year never flies by. But hey, it really did this year. I can't believe it's here, and I can't wait to wear my ugly Christmas sweater.
And the last exciting thing actually has a lot to do with my lack of posting. I go to a technology center for part of my high school day (and have been since last January,) where I've had to create over twenty outfits. When the fashion program ends in January we're having a fashion show. There has been a ton of work involved, and a bit of a time crunch as well. There is still a lot left to do, but I'm excited to take a ton of pictures when it happens and share them!

I'm almost to the end of the post, I promise! I didn't want to just leave you with a bunch of text after so long, so here is an outfit picture I took and planned to share with you two weeks ago. I wore this when I was going to buy fabric for a formal wear project. The thought process behind it was as follows: what in my closet isn't wrinkled? And that was that. I also was wearing flat black suede boots, my dark gray Calvin Klein peacoat, and a ring shaped like a panda.
Okay, this is the final portion of this giant mess of text. I plan to be a better blogger, and I'd like to ask just one thing of you guys. Feedback, feedback, feedback. Tell me what you'd like to see more of, tell me what I need to change, ask me questions, anything! You can leave me comments as usual, or I have other contacts (twitter, email, tumblr) on the left.
