Make The Hard Days Easier.

A long time ago, I read something Tim Gunn had said, probably in his book. He talked about how he has a go to outfit, something he can wear when nothing looks quite right, or when he is in a rush. It's something that has stuck with me since then. I don't exactly have a go to outfit, but I do have a few pieces I tend to trust. I have a purple dress that is amazingly flattering and versatile, and I also love a plain v-neck and skinny jeans for those days where everything seems gross when I put it on. Then I just spice it up with a giant ring or a collection of bracelets and a pair of fierce shoes.

What is your go to outfit?

A few other things...
  • If you didn't pick up on it from the last post, I'm reading Breakfast at Tiffany's at the moment. I'm a little obsessed to tell the truth, you saw my Audrey picture in my room, and my Audrey keychain. I really need to buy myself a copy of the book though, I'm using a copy from the local library at the moment, and it's kind of torn up. Anyway, I've been thinking that this weekend I might do a little fashion movie marathon. So far I'm thinking Breakfast At Tiffany's, Clueless, and maybe Sex And The City: The Movie. Any other suggestions.
  • Not this weekend, but the one after that I'm hoping to go away for the weekend. As long as my plans don't fall through! If all works out, I invited one of my friends to go and stay with my family at my uncle's beach house. I haven't been there in years, but apparently they renovated the house and it is now a mansion, so I'll take tons of pictures, can't say I've ever been in a mansion before. Hopefully my friend will be able to go, we could even fit in a little shopping. Plus it is the perfect time for a mini-vacation. We'll leave after school that Friday, and come home Sunday. Then we have Monday off of school, so I'll have plenty of time to do my homework and recuperate.
  • It is officially time for America's Next Top Model. I saw an ad where Mr. Jay was saying they're doing a nude shoot! Drama! I know they never produce top models, and it is really better to lose (or so it seems), but I can't help but watch. Plus, did anyone who is watching notice how awesome the model's house is this cycle? It was amazing.
