What Is My Demise.

I was thinking about fashion crimes today and decided it would be a good bonding experience for us all to share those moments that we look back on and are horrified by.

Here is mine: In fifth grade I was really obsessed with this brand that made shirts with inspirational sayings on them for girls. They said things like, "Failure is not an option." (I actually still have a few that are tucked away with the clothes I'll never wear but won't throw away, and if I remember I'll maybe update the post with them.) Anyway, I had a few, and I used to wear them all the time. There was definitely a period where they were basically all I'd ever wear. I've blocked it out a little, but I feel like I was probably wearing some of the shirts more than once a week. I can't imagine why, since I certainly had other clothes, other than I guess I thought they were terribly cool.

I haven't had such an ongoing fashion crime since them. So, would your biggest crime of fashion be?

I think my biggest crime of fashion is wearing yoga pants in public...

I think mine is not having all the courage to wear things that I ought to have. I've been way too shy for way too long.

oooh. I have SEVERAL! One I recently posted: where I wore a "top" as a "dress". Hahahaha.

Another is one that all my friends are too happy to remind me of: my first day of 6th grade I showed up wearing my Jimmy Hendrix purple sunglasses, and white jeans and a striped crop top.

yeah.

hurray bonding!

Hmmm...in the fourth grade I wore these white spandex/stretch/bike shorts with bright yellow smiley faces all over them. They were my favorite!! :P

Oh I cringe everytime I think of my early high school wardrobe choices. Think pinstriped corduroy pants, pastel pink jumper and street sneakers. The combination actually looked quite nice at the time (as hard as it is to believe), but the thought of wearing something like that now makes me recoil in horror. Haha.
